I have a lot of favorite movies, and I like a lot of different genres of movies. I'm a huge fan of all the Adam Sandler classics, such as Billy Madison, Waterboy, Happy Girlmore; you get the gist of it. I also like scary movies, and the movies that are just so incredibley "stupid" that they're funny. I'd have to say that my all time favorite movie is Cruel Intentions though, mainly because of Ryan Phillipe. That movie never gets old. Cruel Intentions is completely opposite from anything Adam Sandler, but its still a good one.
I cannot honestly say that I have a single favorite movie. It depends on my mood, the weather, the time of year. I actually really like this 1940's movie called "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir." I watch a lot of foreign films. "The Spirit" was moderately entertaining. I like "Stranger then Fiction."
I don't know. I tend to be either absolutely certain or painfully indecisive.
I also have many favorite movies as well. I love Will Ferrel movies a lot. Such as Step Brothers and Anchor man. I also like Top Gun, and other air plane movies. All action movies are good as long as there is alright acting and lots of explosions. So I like Rambo, Terminater, and any Army movie. My favorite movies although very different all have one thing in common... their awsomeness.
well im not really sure what my favorite movie really is. I have a lot of movies that i really like! I enjoy all sorts of genres, however, action and comedy are my favorites. I like the movie XXX with Vin Diesel in it. In this movie there is a very good plot. I also enjoy the movie The Waterboy. This has Adam Sandler in it. I like basically all of Adam Sandler films. Thats about all there is to say about my favorite movies.
I have a couple of favorite movies, but American History X is probably my all-time favorite. After watching it, I learned a lot about racism and just how far some people have taken it. Edward Norton is also a plus. I think the movie would be considered drama, which isn't normally my type of genre. I usually prefer horror movies. Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Cruel Intentions, and Blow are some of my other favorite movies. I'm pretty picky about what I watch, though.
I have many favorite movies, but I would have to say my favorite of all time would have to be Vanilla Sky. Along with Vanilla Sky some others that come quick to mind are, Serendipity, Practical Magic, Say Anything, The Breakfast Club and Donnie Darko. I love movies that really make you think. Like I have seen Vanilla Sky over 100 times, my friends hate watching it with me because I say every word. Besides liking Vanilla Sky, another reason I’ve watched it so many times is because it took me some time to figure out. I have come to love director Cameron Crowe. He not only directed Vanilla Sky but also the 80’s hit, Say Anything. I’m a sucker for an 80’s flick as well. I watch a lot of movies, and like a lot of movies but these are the ones I love.
The first movie I would consider my "favorite" would be Fight Club. After watching that movie I found myself questioning the way I live my life. I'm sure anyone who has seen (AND understood) this movie feels the same way. Another movie that is probably a close second to Fight Club would be Wristcutters: A Love Story. This movie depicts the "afterlife" of people who have committed suicide. Though it may seem dark, judging by it's name and plot, it ends up being a romantic comedy. Pretty much every movie I have seen is my favorite. More of them include: I'm Not There, L'Auberge Espagnole, The Departed, Requiem For a Dream, and The Dark Knight.
I think I can narrow down my list of favorite movies to three: "An American Carol," "Iron Man," and "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl." An American Carol I saw quite recently and it is a great comedy. I really wanted to see this movie because it is one of the few comedies that makes fun of liberals instead of conservatives, specifically Michael Moore and ungrateful people like him who disparage our troops without giving a thought to how that affects their morale and America's image abroad. Iron Man is another favorite because it is actiony and funny, too. I especially admire Iron Man because although he doesn't have superpowers, he builds a cybersuit thing so he can solve the problem of his weapons leaking to terrorists. Lastly, my all-time favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean. One: because it is about pirates. Two: perfect mix of comedy and action. Three: some of Johnny Depp's best acting. My brother and I have both watched that movie at least twenty times, and love some of the more memorable and hilarious lines. Overall, my love for comedy dominates (it's been proven that laughter is good for your health), but I also love a good action film.
I would have to say that my favorite movie of all time would have to be Step Brothers. I think it's hilarious, and it's the only movie that I can watch more than five times and still find it funny. A close second would have to be pineapple express, though. No one but me seems to think that it's a good movie, but I really like anything that is a comedy. One last movie that I really do like watching, that is not a comedy, is The Boondock Saints. It's an older movie, and is sort of boring in the beginning but gets better as it goes on. So in general, I like comedy and action movies, but I'm really not that picky when it comes to movies.
La Vita รจ bella (Life is Beautiful) is my favorite movie overall. It's one of the very few dramas that I like, let alone love. The main character tries to convince his son that the Nazi prison camp they're in is a happy place that they live in voluntarily. I also love comedies, Snatch being the best of these. Snatch has, in my humble opinion, some of the coolest and most likable characters in any movie ever. I also especially enjoy both versions of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, both because they're just so awesome. All movies with Gene Wilder are worth watching.
My favorite movie of all time would have to be Anchorman. Anchorman is such a good movie because it has the funniest quotes and I actually still quote that movie today. Any movie with Will Ferrel or Adam Sandler is in my book going to be funny. Some other movies of Will Ferrel's that I like are: Step Brothers, Semi Pro, and Old School. Some movies of Adam Sandler's that I like are: Chuck and Larry, The Longest Yard, Mr. Deeds, Eight Crazy Nights, Happy Gilmore, Waterboy, Billy Maddison, and the always good Wedding Singer. I like the dumb comedy kind of movies, the ones that make you laugh the entire movie. Some other movies that I like that arent comedies are 7 pounds and Wanted. 7 pounds is a really good movies because Will Smith is a great actor. Wanted is my favorite action movie of all time. The main character is a man and thats all I have to say. I also like some chick flicks, The Notebook and A Walk to Remember. :)
I would have to say that I do not have one distinct favorite movie, but in fact have three. I like them all, though, for different reasons. These movies are Fight Club, American History X, and Cheech & Chong: Up In Smoke. I really enjoyed Fight Club for its intense suspense and twists and turns in the plot. I love American History X also for the suspense, but mostly for the shock factor that it gets and its controversial content. Cheech & Chong, I believe, were important innovators in comedy. They use light humor and simple situations to entice their audiences. Up in Smoke has proven to be a timeless comedy film and will remain as such in the future. These are my favorite movies. - Mario Perkins
I too have many movies that I love. My mood kind of dictates what movies I watch. I love the movie Waiting, and all the Adam Sandler movies. Will Ferrel Movies are realy good too, he's my favorite actor. I really like a good comedy, although I enjoy a good action movie when the mood hits me.
Well back in the day (the day of knights at the round table) we did not have "hollywood" or Jesica Simpson. We loved to burn people at the stake or stone them. Haha The mood im in reall sets and helps me pick the movie i want to see. My god im always in for a comedy movie. My favorite new movie of all time would have to be Ricky Bobby Talladega. I can resite every line from that movie and i also could watch it over 17.5 times in a day and not get sick of it. Will ferrel is probably the funniest guy alive. Now if i want to watch a serious movie i would watch Step Brothers. The first time i watched that movie i could not stop laughing. LadyMiranda and i watched tropical thunder and im pretty sure it was hilarious! :) Now a fighting action movie i love would be saving private ryan. That movie is the Sh$$. Whoops! That is all for now ladies and gentelman. -SirDorian
I personally do not have a favorite movie as well as others in our class. The movie i like depends on the type and mood. But, if i had to pick one that is probley my favorite right now, it would be The Rundown with THE ROCK and SEANN WILLIAM SCOTT! I like that movie because it is an action movie plus it is very funny.I have probley seen this movie a million times and i still love it! I also love any movie with Will Smith in it to. Will Smith is amazing!
And yes, if you want a good cry, you should watch Marley and Me. It made SirDorian cry =]
I would have to say one of my favorite movies is mr and mrs smith. I like that movie because its teh biggest guy movie; a hot women (angelina joile) and a ton of action. Then I would have to say Gone in 60 seconds staring nicholas cage. Ive like that movie since I was a young lad. At last i would say Friday Night Lights and Super Trooper, because FNL is a cool football movie and Super Troopers is really funny
Right now my favorite movie is Fireproof...SirDorian will cry even harder watching this one! It speaks to the soul...I also like Life as a House, The Notebook, The Butterfly Effect, and Seven Pounds. Funny ones include Hitch, What Happens in Vegas, Bringing Down the House. Movies are great...aren't they? Maybe you are watching one RIGHT NOW since we aren't at school? Enjoy your day off, and I will see you tomorrow!
